What NUVEX handles

NUVEX is a camera application. It handles only the information needed to capture, edit, save, sync, diagnose, and purchase the features you choose to use.

• Camera access is used to show the viewfinder and capture photographs.
• Photos, edits, and exports are processed on your device and saved through Android MediaStore. NUVEX does not upload your photographs by default.
• When you import a photograph, Android Photo Picker gives NUVEX access only to the item you select.
• Local Camera Passport details, including its portrait and personal calibration, remain on the device unless a feature explicitly says otherwise.

Accounts and Camera Passport

An account is optional. If you create one or continue with Google, Firebase Authentication processes your account identifier, name, email address, authentication provider, and profile image where available.

• Cloud Firestore stores up to three Camera Passport builds under your account.
• A cloud build can include camera colours, body, case, stickers, selected film look, HUD theme, JPEG quality, and sync time.
• Your email and display name may be stored with the private Camera Passport record so the app can identify its owner.
• Cloud records are visible only to the authenticated account that owns them.

Diagnostics and integrity

NUVEX uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand feature use, diagnose crashes, and improve stability. Firebase App Check and Google Play Integrity help confirm that requests come from an authentic installation.

• Diagnostic data can include app interactions, app version, device and operating-system information, installation identifiers, crash logs, and performance details.
• Crash reports use a shortened one-way hash instead of your raw Firebase account identifier.
• NUVEX does not place photo paths, captions, email addresses, or image contents in its own diagnostic logs.

Purchases

Google Play processes NUVEX Plus purchases. NUVEX receives product, purchase-token, and entitlement information needed to unlock and restore Plus. IFY Inc does not receive your full payment-card number.

Sharing

When you share a capture or export, NUVEX opens Android's share sheet. The app you select receives the item under that service's own privacy policy. NUVEX does not post to a social network without your action.

How information is used

Information is used to provide requested features, authenticate accounts, restore cloud camera builds, process purchases, prevent abuse, maintain security, measure reliability, and respond to support requests. NUVEX does not sell personal information.

Service providers

NUVEX currently relies on Google and Firebase services for Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, App Check, Play Integrity, and Google Play Billing. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.

Retention and deletion

Account and Camera Passport cloud data are retained while your account is active. You can delete the account from Settings > Camera Passport > Account > Delete Nuvex Account.

• Deletion removes the Firebase Authentication account and active Camera Passport cloud record.
• Local photographs and camera settings remain on your device unless you delete them or clear or uninstall the app.
• Account deletion does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Subscriptions are managed separately in Google Play.
• If the app is no longer available, request deletion at nuvexcam.vercel.app/delete-account.
• Limited security logs, backups, aggregated analytics, or crash reports may remain for the retention periods applied by the relevant service provider or required by law.

Your choices and rights

You may use the core camera without an account, deny optional permissions, sign out, delete cloud builds, or delete your account. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, object to, restrict, or request a copy of personal information. Contact IFY Inc to make a request.

Children

NUVEX is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age in their country. IFY Inc does not knowingly collect a child's personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.

International processing

Google and Firebase may process information in countries other than your own. Their contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards apply to those transfers.

Changes and contact

IFY Inc may update this policy when NUVEX, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date on this page will be updated. Material changes will be communicated in the app or store listing where appropriate.
